August 3rd 2011- Lindsay and Alfie won the Advanced class today at Beaver Hall EC with 66.87%- it was sweltering and it was unclear who was the warmest at the end of the test!

July 2011- We welcome Taba's half brother (and Ticketyboo's full brother!) TDS Tuxedo to the fold- at 18.2hh he certainly is an upstanding chap, and though unbacked, he shows super movement and trainability. He also loves cuddles which is a highly important factor in selecting a serious dressage horse ;-)

May 2011 -Very sadly, the latest news is the devastating loss of Lindsay's beautiful five year old gelding TDS Taba Heights. He was galloping with his sister in the field, as he often did (they loved to play), and suffered an aortic rupture. He died two minues later in Lindsay's arms, and though the loss was sudden and shocking, the only comfort was that it was extremely quick. He will be missed always xxxx
16th January 2011- Recommendation for the book on the US radio station 'The Jumping Radio Show'- go on www.thehorse.com/podcast/jumping/assets to listen! It's on episode 42 at around 46 mins
28th December 2010- New review for Lindsay's book 'Pilates for Riders' from American equestrian site 'The Horse Studio'
'TheHorseStudio.com review: Turn on the right muscles for riding sports and turn off the wrong ones with these simple exercises. This book is chock full of excellent advice and photos that aid the rider to develop a simple, structured approach to access the best from the horse. The advice concerning which muscles to switch on and off during the half halt are particularly helpful. With four dimensional breathing you will find your horse will engage more positively and the author, experienced U.K. dressage trainer/rider and pilates expert Lindsay Wilcox-Reid, provides succinct instruction well versed in pilates as it applies to equestrians. An excellent book for the rider seeking to advance their tact, position and improve their application of aids in any discipline.'

13th and 14th November- YOUR HORSE LIVE 2010
It was a great weekend at Your Horse Live- Lindsay did three demonstrations in the 'Improve Your Riding' Zone which were extremely well attended and the Your Horse team said they had received lots of positive feedback. Lots of signed copies of the book were sold and lot of requests to hurry up with the production of the DVD- don't panic folks- we're on the case! The first DVD in the series will be available later this year- in time for next year's Christmas pressies!

Lindsay's book 'Pilates for Riders' has just received its first review on Amazon- 5 stars!
'Fabulous book, 22 Sep 2010
A fabulous book - the first of it's kind I'd say and well worth the money for those who are dedicated to improving both their riding and their competition scores. Full colour pictures, diagrams,
detailed precise explanations and exercises tailored to improving specific rider weaknesses.
Stop blaming the horse, buy this book and start looking at what you're bringing (or not bringing) to the partnership! It's well written, easy to read and is packed with great information. I've
learned a huge amount from it already. '

16th September 2010
