I then signed up to an Equipilates™ class, started having dressage training with Lindsay and the odd 1:1 studio session and things just got better and better. The pain I'd experienced for so long in my hips which I'd had to take to take painkillers for so I could get to sleep at night disappeared.
For me Lindsay's USP is that she addresses both riders body issues and the training of the horse, in such a way that it is possible to develop a harmonious and respectful partnership based on ethical principles.
The combination of Equipilates™ and biomechanics screenings plus honest classical horse training principles has led me to feel I am truly doing my best to ride my horse well and with respect. It hasn't happened over night and I continue to learn and develop but the journey is so much more rewarding AND I can at last do sitting trot for hours, slow my horse with body signals and have lovely twangy reins with a soft contact at the appropriate moment.
Thank you so much Lindsay!
