Equipilates Biomechanics Trainer™ Equipilates™ Registered Trainer 07792 465452 www.cadenzapilates.co.uk Sam Parsons is a Body Control Pilates instructor, Equipilates Registered Trainer and a Biomechanics Trainer with more than ten years of experience. She is also a member of the Register for Exercise Professionals. Sam has ridden, trained and competed horses professionally. She has a particular interest in the biomechanics of the human body and the dynamics of the trainer/rider/horse relationship. Sam continues to train riders to help them improve their riding position and influence their horse more effectively, resulting in a better performance by both horse and rider. |
Sam has always been interested in rehabilitation and performance, and has turned her focus to Equipilates as a targeted method of training and rehabilitation for horse and rider.
At Cadenza Pilates she offers Equipilates one to one dismounted tuition on the saddle horse, to assess rider’s symmetry in the saddle, their breathing and their core stability. She offers a personalised programme to help riders with their relaxation and mobilisation, helping them fine tune their aids and improve their overall confidence.
Sam also offers intrinsic biomechanics screenings and corrective exercise programmes to help riders become more effective.
With her mounted tuition, she offers postural analysis and position coaching, raising awareness of rider’s alignment, breathing and core control during movement.
Sam takes great pleasure helping improve rider’s feel and timing, their horse’s balance and their partnership.
