In November 2015 I decided to combine my passion for Pilates and its link to helping improve horse rider position, influence and effectiveness still further by training to be an Equipilates™ Biomechanics Trainer™.
Already convinced about the many benefits of Pilates I was keen to further my understanding of the horse rider specific application of the Pilates principles. In addition I was interested to learn how to incorporate Intrinsic Biomechanical diagnostic techniques in to my current Postural Analysis screening process

"After over 16 years teaching Pilates in health club settings & returning to horse-riding myself after a 25 year break, I was interested in how I could use my Pilates knowledge to help equestrians. I was initially recommended Lindsays book ‘Core Connection’ which helped me understand the differences in biomechanics for horse riders and how Pilates principles could be adapted to improve Rider position, and it inspired me to find out more.
