Equipilates Biomechanics Trainer™
Becki was introduced to Pilates in 2005 by her Osteopath as a way of regaining strength and mobility after having back surgery. Overwhelmed by the speed of her recovery and the reduction in pain once Pilates was introduced into her rehabilitation programme she made Pilates a regular part of her routine.
In 2009 Becki commenced her Pilates teaching journey with Body Control Pilates, starting out with mat work before moving on to the low back pain, bone health, older adult qualifications and studio machines.
After moving to a smallholding in Carmarthenshire in 2016, Becki rediscovered her childhood love of riding horses. She quickly realised the positive difference Pilates made to her own riding, and when an Equipilates instructor provided some classes to the local riding club she attended classes as a student to find out more about what Equipilates™ had to offer. Blown away by the targeted approach and rider specific exercises, Becki enrolled onto the course to complete the qualification, and to improve her own riding. Becki is also certified as a Franklin Method Equestrian Trainer, and has completed the Equestrian Reformer Teachers course with Julie Driver.
Becki offers a variety of Pilates classes in Carmarthenshire, and looks forward to working with you to achieve your riding related goals.
