Dressage Training![]() Lindsay has over twenty years of teaching experience and offers dressage and flatwork training which involves a multi-faceted approach to developing both horse and rider to their full potential. Sessions may involve some groundwork or in-hand work where appropriate, and will always focus on the long term health and soundness of your horse.
She is committed to training every horse and rider ethically and effectively. Your lessons will incorporate rider position work and also specific exercises for your horse to improve his patterns of natural asymmetry, release restrictions and target weak areas in his body. Lindsay has competed up to Prix St Georges and coaches riders and their horses at all levels, including helping leisure riders and horses be more balanced and responsive for weekend activities all the way through to professionals competing seriously. She integrates a wealth of knowledge into her teaching gained from the tutelage of some of the world's most respected classical equitation and competition trainers and trains regularly with Manuela McLean from Equitation Science International. Her current competition horse Beckhouse Able is progressing well on his journey towards advanced, with three super exciting youngsters at the start of their training journey.

Our sponsors![]() Lindsay is very proud to be sponsored by KBIS British Equestrian Insurance, with whom she has insured her horses and her own professional indemnity for coaching for the last twenty years. " I have always been incredibly impressed with the service provided, from being sympathetic after the loss of horses, to the efficiency in setting up or altering policies. I am thrilled to be a part of team KBIS and really looking forward to showing the benefits of Equipilates™".
Lindsay is also delighted to be supported by Saracen Horse Feeds. We have fed Saracen to our horses for a number of years and have always been so impressed with how the horses look and perform; each horse's diet is carefully managed due to their differing needs, with regular checks and tweaks by our fabulous area Saracen Nutrition Advisor Kate Hayward. We feed all of the horses on Super Fibre Cubes and Releve cubes according to work levels and energy required. An extra hard working session usually leads to some yummy Re-Covery Mash as a well -earned treat! Lindsay is keenly aware, both through her own riding and from working with clients, how a saddle can help or hinder a rider to perform to the best of their ability. The majority of riders are well aware of how imperative is it that the saddle is suitable and well fitted for the horse, but not as many know just how important it is that the saddle is suitable and well fitted for the rider! Having experienced many many saddle designs and manufacturers, ever since she first sat in a Custom saddle, Lindsay felt the difference in the support offered and the freedom of movement for the horse. She values the Custom fitting process of building the saddle from the tree which is the best shape for the horse, after the range is tried on the horse's back, and then from those trees the rider is able to select the best seat and block style for their personal preference. That's not even mentioning the incredible designs and really stunning leathers, piping, blingy bits and additions any rider who is passionate about style as well as substance will adore! You can stay conservative or go absolutely wild...unleash your artistic flair and design your dream saddle!
Our horses are always super comfortable and are gratefully supported in their stables on Swish bedding. We switched over onto Swish from shavings during a particularly vile winter, when the bedding bill, the muckheap and the amount of time Lindsay spent on both mucking out and complaining about the mucking out simply became too huge! We've never looked back. The bill, the muckheap and the mucking out time have drastically reduced. Win-win!
