Equipilates Biomechanics Trainer™ [email protected] 07866 394463 My name is Emma and I first discovered Pilates over 15 years ago when, due to chronic back pain, my physio suggested I tried it. I have loved my journey training in Pilates as it has improved my posture, strength, balance, flexibility and reconditioned my body helping it to function better. I have been a horse rider for most of my life in all disciplines and, in 2019 when I was looking to develop my knowledge, discovered Equipilates™ realising then that I could merge my love of Pilates and riding. My Equipilates™ Biomechanics journey began in 2020 and I am now a level 3 Pilates Matwork teacher, an Equipilates™ Biomechanics trainer and also Exercise Referral & Nutritionist qualified. I offer 1-2-1 Biomechanics screening, Equipilates™ sessions and saddle horse work in my purpose-built studio here on the farm in Lincolnshire. I can work with your own trainers or even use video of your riding aiming to EmPower you so you come away with a plan/goal understanding your own body and so you are able to 'Be the rider your horse would want you to be' (as championed by my trainer Lindsay Wilcox Reid). It is very powerful training horses when the riders work on their own health, fitness and are aware of their own intrinsic biomechanics. My journey has made me very aware of how much the rider influences their horse’s balance and reactions to the aids. My courses range from a minimum of 6 weeks for Equipilates™ sessions or day clinics to focus on specifics for individuals or groups of riders – whatever the individuals require or feel they want to complete. |
