As well as being an Equipilates™ Affiliated Riding Instructor, I am also a UKCC2 Coach and Equine Sports Massage Therapist (ESMT Dip).  I have been teaching for over 25 years but have found that since discovering Equipilates™ techniques I can honestly say that it has revolutionised not only my teaching but my awareness of my own body and how it affects my horses.  I am passionate about developing a system in my training that is fair and easy to understand for the horses, as well as enabling my clients to further develop their communication with their horse.

I particularly enjoy helping riders who may suffer from nerves/anxiety when riding, or those who have lost their confidence. The Equipilates™ system has equipped me with the tools to be able to help these riders to improve.  I am equally happy to teach competitive riders and enjoy helping them to identify and improve any little `niggles’ caused by mis-communication and mis-alignment. I have trained and competed my own horses successfully to affiliated medium level and am currently enjoying training my young horse.

As well as mounted sessions I really enjoy one-one un-mounted sessions which are invaluable in identifying any imbalances and helping riders to become more `body-aware’.  I am very excited to be training to become a Pilates Matwork Teacher and Equipilates™ Biomechanics Trainer, through the complete pathway training with Lindsay Wilcox-Reid.
